Eastern Steering CommitteeAbout UsThese pages describe the Eastern Cadastral Steering Committee of the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) Subcommittee for Cadastral Data. You will find information on eastern states activities specifically related to implementation, meetings, and other eastern specific activities. In addition to these eastern states efforts we have a western steering committee and national coordination through the efforts of the FGDC Subcommittee on Cadastral data. The Eastern Cadastral Steering Committee is organized under the auspices of the FGDC Subcommittee on Cadastral Data and is charged with addressing issues specific to the eastern United States, encouraging broad based participation, and advancing the Eastern Cadastral NSDI. The membership of the steering committee includes representatives from federal land agencies, states and counties and Tribes.
